Version 0.5.2

Version 0.5.2 of Briwood’s program has been released. Updates include:

• All load code has been rewritten in Scala
• Top chord analysis has been rewritten in Scala using the functional paradigm
• Scala code for top chord analysis and zero shear finding uses parallel processing
• New loads - Additional Uniform Loads and Moving Point Loads
  • Moving point load allows point loads to be placed anywhere on the joist with reinforcement for local bending
  • Additional uniform loads can be added. They can be factored as dead, live, snow, wind, storage, liquid and soil
• Point loads can that lack reinforcement can be locked into the mid-panel for top chord analysis or be placed exactly for top chord analysis

Bug Fixes

• Pratt and Warren Panel pattern buttons actually work
• Point loads in the end panel with no reinforcement are handled correctly in the top chord analysis
